Re: Churchills

Certainly agree with you about PSC sarge831. Just bought myself a box of Opel Blitz. Excellent choice of variations, although a little on the expensive side.

Re: Churchills

I've made a couple of the Airfix Churchills over the years. I agree with the above. Those tiny wheels are rights bu****s to work with. Didn't like the tracks either.
Armourfast have got it just right - and I don't end up with sticky fingers any more either! 😊

Re: Aerials

Thanks for that Sarge831.

I had tried bristles once before, but not from a wire brush. Shall have to try that.

I've seen "greenstuff" mentioned before, but haven't a clue what it is. More research required I think.

Thanks again.

Aerials

Anyone any good tips on what to use for scratch-built aerials?

I 've used wire from telephone cables, which is quite good, but I feel I fail miserably when it comes to something to connect it to the vehicle.

Any tips would be gratefully received.

Thanks in anticipation.

Next Armourfast release

There's been some excellent suggestions for future models in the Armourfast range, but what will actually be the next one?
I recall a remark somewhere within the forum relating to a possible release (but I can't find it now). So what's it to be? Or are there a number in the pipeline?

Re: Stowage Kits

Not sure whether I should say this on the Armoutfast site, but Value Gear do some good stowage gear for 1/72 German and allied models.
