Bunny says hello :)

Here's where you can tell us all about yourself - as much or little as you'd like. But of course, the more we know, the more we can get to know you!

Bunny says hello :)

Post by MrsWargamer » Thu Sep 16, 2021 6:52 pm

Hello all.
Took a while to get sanctioned, but I managed :)

I joined because I like the product enough to think it was worth it.

I kinda bought a whole stack of kits last month. First-time customer, and it was a chance I was ok taking.

Picked up 7 kits. I'll chatter about them elsewhere on the forum.

Suffice it to say, I'm pleased.

So anyway, hello from Bunny, I'm known in digital wargaming aka Slitherine Group (Slitherine in Europe and Matrix Games in the US), as Mrs Wargamer.
I'm quite the hard-core tank fan. Mainly a WW2 enthusiast. I'm an old gal. And you'll never hear me complaining about the wife. I AM the wife :)

I buy as many wargames and tank models as I feel like.

I love all scales, but 72nd take up less space. And after 100 tanks, the shelves get a bit crowded. And they have to compete with my Barbies and teddy bears :)

Hi MrsW...
Totally my fault over the delay in letting you in - just been really busy.

Only 100 tanks... so still a starter, then

Yes, the Armourfast range are really neat models. There are some compromises - eg track details, back of wheels, fire extinguisher on PzIV, etc, but they're easy enough to sort if really needed, but for wargaming, they're really great.

Welcome aboard. Good to have a female modeller.

Looking forward to seeing your work.

All the best.
