M4A3R3 Flame thrower "zippo"

We all know that the basic Armourfast kits look pretty good straight out of the box, but how have you tinkered with them? Whether you've dumped a load of stowage all over, bought one of the aftermarket add-ons, or scratch-built something completely new? Tell us & share your photos so that we can all benefit

I'm looking in to the posibility of remoddeling one of the armourfast Shermankits in to this Variant.
I would like to know which one to take , also I would welkom any sugestions on how best to aproach this remodeling .
this is the variant used in the Pacific Mainly on Iwo Jima and Okinawa.

Hi Robbie,
This site: https://olive-drab.com/idphoto/id_photo ... hrower.php would seem to indicate that the M4A1 Sherman was used... which, IIRC was the cast hull version (with a rounded front) so, unfortunately, as things stand at the moment, none of teh Armourfast range would work :(

there is an m4 crocodle conversions available, but that is NWE.

the m4 & flamer in the pic on the link shows an m4 hybrid the one with the late cast hull front mated to a welded m4 hull.
we also make this conversion for the armourfast m4, but there is very little external difference, the other m4 flamer was not used in action, it was too late for ww2.
