M-18 Hellcat

We're all interested to know "what's next" so this is where Tracy, Nicholas & the team will be able to share with us what's on the bench & the progress it's making into full production. But please be patient as things don't always go smoothly!

i got my hellcat today, nice model, the only criticism is the flat turret floor but i can see why they did it, i reckon it will sell well.
great model.

Got mine today. Looks good on the sprue. The young lad and I will be getting to grips with it in a day or so.

The young lad and I put one of ours together and did a quick shaky video review. Here it is for anyone interested. We enjoyed making it together, Armourfast kits are a great introduction for kids to the hobby, my lads nearly 8 and has tackled a few Armourfast kits. anyway, here's our video. I couldn't see anything in the rules about not posting videos, but if this is removed I understand.

Ronan

Thx for the vid. It sounds like you and i are in very similar positions. I came back to the hobby a few years ago after a very long break because of my son.

He wanted a kit after a visit to a hobby craft store but the Airfix kit (it was all that I knew) we got was too complicated for him (he was 6 at the time) and even tried my patience. Then we came across these new fangled quickbuild kits and the rest is history!!! 😁

Keep up the good work and having fun with your son.

All the best.

Andrew

@Ronan - appropriate videos most definitely not a problem (the draconian measures recently taken by me were as a result of some less appropriate videos being posted... )

And good to hear you in the video reminding everyone of the real reason that they need to be kept away from under 3's... "they'll eat your tanks"

Also great to hear that you (& read that Andrew) are both getting youngsters used to AF vehicles...

Cheers
